As the Head of Photography at Bucht der Träumer* Festival, I lead a dynamic team of five photographers, actively engaging in capturing and creatively directing our photographic efforts. We are committed to respectfully documenting the festival’s vibrant scenes without compromising attendee privacy, ensuring our images reflect the event's core values of inclusivity, diversity, and respect for personal space.
In my dual role, I not only manage but also participate in photographing key moments that showcase the festival’s diverse and queer-friendly environment, which crosses various music genres with artists from around the globe. I also coordinate the shot list and specific performances that require coverage, ensuring our visuals cohesively match the festival's message.
Additionally, I am responsible for overseeing a comprehensive database of all created content, maintaining its accessibility and organization. This ensures our photographic content supports the festival's ongoing narrative and is available for promotional and archival purposes. My leadership in both the strategic and creative aspects of festival photography helps ensure that our work not only captures but also enhances the unique spirit of Bucht der Träumer*.
